Privacy Policy
Who is responsible for your data
Zoë Alessandro, a photographer and front-end developer based near Amersfoort, the Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. Privacy questions and data-rights requests can be sent to [email protected].
What data is collected
The website collects personal data when you voluntarily use the contact form. This may include:
- Your name and email address
- Your selected inquiry type and message
- Optional photography details such as type, date, location, intended use and visual direction
- Optional website, workflow, employment or collaboration details relevant to your inquiry
- Optional timing, organisation and budget or scope information
- Technical request data processed by the hosting and form services described below
Name, email address, inquiry type and message are needed to respond to an inquiry. Other form fields are optional. No separate analytics, advertising or marketing-tracking tool is configured by this site.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to inquiries and preparing or performing a project - processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement and, where applicable, to perform that agreement.
- Operating and securing the website - technical data may be processed for the legitimate interests of maintaining a functional website, preventing spam and abuse, and protecting the contact form.
- Administration and legal obligations - project and financial records may be retained where required for accounting, tax, dispute or other legal obligations.
Third-party services
The following services support contact and hosting functionality:
- Formspree processes contact-form submissions on behalf of this site. It receives the fields you submit and technical request data needed to operate and secure its service. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers the website. Cloudflare processes visitor requests at its edge network for delivery, reliability and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Some providers are established in, or operate infrastructure outside, the European Economic Area. Personal data may therefore be processed outside the EEA under the safeguards and transfer mechanisms described in their policies.
Data retention
Inquiry data and related correspondence are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the inquiry and follow up on a possible project. If a project follows, relevant communications and administrative records may be kept for the duration of the project and for any longer period required for accounting, tax, contractual or legal purposes. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion where no legal exception applies.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request:
- Access to the personal data held about you
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure of data that is no longer lawfully needed
- Restriction of processing in applicable circumstances
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests
- Data portability where the legal requirements for portability apply
- Withdrawal of consent at any time where processing is based on consent
Requests can be sent to [email protected] and will normally be answered within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or another competent supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
